Dominating the streets of Shilin to KaohSiung, 杀chaji is reportedly the biggest of Taiwan's three main triads. Migrants and their descendants who moved to Taiwan between the late 40's and early 50's, also known as Waishengrens, make up most of their members. 杀chaji have historically close ties to the Kuomintang and are said to be as motivated by political ideology as they are by profit.
